Biharis(Stranded Pakistanis)Protest again on 23rd March

Re: Biharis(Stranded Pakistanis)Protest again on 23rd March

I am with these ppl but they cant be absorbed so quickly in an already fragile and divided society.. Even you think about it- where would you relocate them to? Sindh- Sindhis were angered by the influx of mohajirs in 1947 and there were riots.. Balochistan is full of problems and there's insurgency, NWFP is full of 100% jaahils and they wont accept Biharis by their tribal laws. But as I said before if there's a way we shud go for it.

In 47 they welcomed them as Muslim brothers. It was in the ensuing years divisions appeared. However these days things are ok between them

Re: Biharis(Stranded Pakistanis)Protest again on 23rd March

Someone said they could be divided and dispersd over various areas of Pakistan. As long as their families are not divided it seems OK. Off course their input is important also. A referendum among these people is an option and high level talks need to be inititiated or continued.

Repatriation is not a joke but can be done as a slow process over as many years it takes without interruption.

Karachi is expanding and it is capable of absorbing still many people. They can live at the outskirt of the city, many areas of Punjab and NWFP. NWFP badly needs educated people to educate them where very few people are willing to go and start a school. Balochistan is a problem and I cannot comment on it for now.

It is beyond common sense that population of 160 million can not find even one person with diplomatic background who cannot find soluton?

Their housing will be a problem initially for which donation from rich or poor alike can be set. Pakistan Alhamdulillah is going forward with good financial strength. These people can be put to work like agriculture, offices and house work etc. Many of these people are well educated and can be used to teach others.

Its Pakistan's dignity which is on the line and I am well confident solutuion for this problem will bring goodness to Pakistan's image on international level.
Why do we think other countries have a good name? They support their citizens all the way and keeping good name in the world is considered a real asset by these countries.

Like you said where there is a will there is a way.

Re: Biharis(Stranded Pakistanis)Protest again on 23rd March

Till 70's there was not a major issue with muhaajirs living in Karachi. Why should there be any conflict with sindhis or anyone else for that matter?
We need to remember that its the benefit of our neighbor country (ies) if Pakistan is divided.
