Re: Biharis(Stranded Pakistanis)Protest again on 23rd March

Learn to honor your commitments, people.

Re: Biharis(Stranded Pakistanis)Protest again on 23rd March

They should be brought back to Pakistan and settled in Pashtun areas and in Gwadar. They will immediately be able to take up employment as Urdu teachers and will help in the effort to Urduise Pashtun and Balochi areas. They will serve as the vanguard of Pakistani nationalism in the desolate areas of Balochistan and NWFP.

Re: Biharis(Stranded Pakistanis)Protest again on 23rd March

quote=TheRealDeal]They are simply 'Pakistani's' who were in Bangladesh..
[/quote]

So who are they NOW?

Don't you agree they ARE still Pakistani?

Defeated Army people came back long time ago but loyal Pakistani cannot??

Trying to mix balochi issues with issue at hand?

One bad act does not justify another bad act.

Fact is they (stranded bihaari) kept Pakistani flag up high when army let it down my dear!

Shame on those who find ANY excuse not to accept their own countrymen.

They can work for living at low wages and financing them was not a problem since donation was enough but is swallowed by officials.

Re: Biharis(Stranded Pakistanis)Protest again on 23rd March

Alas had they come with some geograhpical territory their case too wud have been espoused by holy jihad and this and that crap.............. so much for ummah love...... makes u think how genuine is the crocodile tears for kashmiris when they have the self-rule and are in way better socio-economic condition than socalled azad j/K and enjoy special rights way more than an average indian in india.. a kashmiri can be CM of other state do whatever he/she wants in rets of the india but no non-kashmiri can even buy a piece of land in kashmir

Re: Biharis(Stranded Pakistanis)Protest again on 23rd March

many of them did the Razakars got rid of many bengalis...... that is why there is so mcuh hatred against them.Bottonline is we are just offering excuses they have every right to be settled back in pakistan .....but who is willing to accomodate them?

Re: Biharis(Stranded Pakistanis)Protest again on 23rd March

Lets be clear the repatration deal for Bihiaris was defeated because Seraiki groups in souther Punjab would not agree to it

Re: Biharis(Stranded Pakistanis)Protest again on 23rd March

Agreed, we should trade the Biharis for Afghan refugees as soon as we have forced the Afghans home
Keep in mind as well,,,, There are hundreds of thousands illegal immigrant Bangalis in Pakistan who came post '71 for economic reason.

Re: Biharis(Stranded Pakistanis)Protest again on 23rd March

What is the stance of the current Pakistani gonvernment on bringing back Biharis?

Re: Biharis(Stranded Pakistanis)Protest again on 23rd March

It is a fact that political parties who support their repatriation want them only because of political reasons and not on humanitarian grounds.

I think majority of the ethnicities oppose their return. At the moment we dont have any provincial harmony bringing them back will create further differences and who will guarantee them a better future in pakistan.

I think bengali society should accept them and give them citizenship.

Re: Biharis(Stranded Pakistanis)Protest again on 23rd March

^

That's an extremely pessimistic outlook. In the face of a growing Pakistani economy, it's the perfect time to bring those stranded Pakistanis back home.

Besides, when the hell are these provinces and ethnicities going to grow up?!

Re: Biharis(Stranded Pakistanis)Protest again on 23rd March

So instead of us doing the right thing we should 'force' bengalis to accept Pakistani as their citizens? Wah!

Its like.............I am too 'evil' to do the right thing..can you be a 'saint' please and save me from the pressure of being a sinful?

Re: Biharis(Stranded Pakistanis)Protest again on 23rd March

Deedawar bhai read my earlier post as well

Lets talk realistically who will accept them??where would they live??what about their employment and housing???

Political parties are against the khokrapar munabao train because many fear that indians wont return to their home they will rather settle here.In the present scenario is it possible???

Re: Biharis(Stranded Pakistanis)Protest again on 23rd March

We can either choose to grow as a nation (economically, socially & politically) by facing the challenges head-on with courage or cower under our "realistic" fears and resort to inaction HOPING for divine intervention. Pakistanis can choose to do the easy and "realistic" thing or they can DO THE RIGHT THING and bring back the stranded Pakistanis home.

Pakistani economy is growing and jobs hogged by Afghans could go these stranded Pakistanis. Bring them home. Do the right thing.

Re: Biharis(Stranded Pakistanis)Protest again on 23rd March

Have you heard

1-Where there is a will there is a way?

2-Can apologetic behaviour get Pakistan or Pakistani anywhere?

3-Is any excuse better than the ideology of a country?

4-Is betrayal of its own people a 'Pakistani' trade?

5-All of a sudden we start thinking the 'reality' of bringing our own people when same people do still love and consider Pakistan as their country?

6-If Karachi could have currupted Afghani Sohraab Goth in past then why can't it accept people who are essentially Pakistani?

7-Do we think that the nationality of these people is changed despite they never wanted Pakistan to be divided or be a part of BD?

I think at this issue, it seems that Pakistan is willing to accept Drug smugglers, Arm dealers from any country but is not willing to accept its own citizens.

Re: Biharis(Stranded Pakistanis)Protest again on 23rd March

These people are not 'accepted'. they are illegals, and the govt does not have the capacity to kick them all out.

Re: Biharis(Stranded Pakistanis)Protest again on 23rd March

Do you have a clue what "albadr " was?

Biharis lost thier loved ones only for pakistan, my family lost around 7/8 people during 1971 including my grandparents.uncles and my elder brother who was only ten months old.

there are more afghans/bengalis in karachi or urban sindh why not biharis though i favour them being settled in other areas of pakistan.

Re: Biharis(Stranded Pakistanis)Protest again on 23rd March

BIharis are indian in the first place Mr. Einstein!

You are so full of it.. :omg:

Re: Biharis(Stranded Pakistanis)Protest again on 23rd March

Since your reading comprehension leaves much to be desired, I 'll spell it out for you. Those Pakistanis are muslims and practise a culture that's close to muslim than the enlightended/westernized b***tardization televised in Pakistan.

So before your wet your pants with mirth, pay attention to what's written. Shabash.

Re: Biharis(Stranded Pakistanis)Protest again on 23rd March

Luxury Item
If the majority of the population says that it is not the right thing to bring them back who will change their opinion?

Afghans are mainly involved in smuggling, drugs and all kind of weapons i think they would not like to involve in this kind of trade surely. Those who claim to be the original karachiwalay are not getting jobs and feel that they are descriminated.who will give them(biharis) any kind of work???

deedawar
1.Our governmnet's(establishment) intentions are pretty clear they dont want them.

3.who follows this ideology. What happened in 71 was certainly not islamic ideology it was provincialism and descrimination. So Islamic ideology doesnot exist in pakistan.

6.give them bengali citizenship and they will be bangladeshi the same day.

7.a common man whether east pakistani or west pakistan didnot want the country to divide. The bengalis were in a majority they could have ruled the whole country.so they didnot want pakistan to divide

On one hand we accept that pakistan was created on the basis of islam.Bangladesh is also a muslim majority country if Islam is the only common factor then why shouldnt they( bihari muslims) live there(bangladesh)??
Here we are contradicting ourselves why should they come to pakistan just because they speak Urdu Was urdu the common point of unity when at the time of partition it was the mother tongue of only 4 to5 % of the population.

In my first post I gave my personal opinion that is they should be brought back and the illegal bengalis and afghanis should return to their native countries. But majority of the pakistanis wont agree.

Re: Biharis(Stranded Pakistanis)Protest again on 23rd March

How do you know?
Do you come from a refugee camp yourself????
