Biggest decision?

Re: Biggest decision?

idk. All of these decisions just pale in comparison in my eyes. I mean, you dont like your career, take a few years to re-educate yourself and break into something new. You home-school your kids with much expense and dedication but you can decide tomorrow to put them back in public (or private) school. These are short term decisions that surely are life altering but still dont come close to who you choose to marry. This is something that will last for the remainder of your days on earth, ESP when children are involved. You can change careers, schools, actually ANYTHING in your life. But you cannot change the fact that you married your spouse. Even if you divorce. Cause the fact remains that you had that spouse and promised to spend the rest of your life with him/her.

Nice topic.
I never had a chance to make any big decisions. When I was a student my parents made all the big decisions.
What should I be studying , what kind of friends should I have ,which movie I can watch, which girl I can marry.
Once I got married my wife makes all the big decisions.
Which home to buy, which sofa bedroom set to buy, how many kids should we have.
Now my kids make their own big decisions, what they want to be , a doctor, a lawyer , a teacher , a singer.
So I never got to make any big decisions.
Any comments ?:ASA:

If anything goes wrong in marriage you can blame it on your spouse or his family etc but if anything goes wrong in Home Education you can't blame the teachers or school or the education system for it.
