^Yes, I see CB. I don’t mean to offend anyone’s skills/ability to design these types of flowy/swishy dresses, it’s just that a lot of examples of replicas don’t have the cut I’m looking for, and lots of pictures show A-Line dresses rather than the ‘fuller-skirted’ type. Like you said, a lot of the time it must be the client’s budget rather than the ability of the tailor.
I’m more than willing to have a look at different designers to see if I like the cut of their designs, and I understand that there is a lot of fabric used with the shape I want, so I know that if there is a good cut, I’m getting good value for money. I’m not trying to be a cheapskate, I’m just trying not to over-spend if I can’t afford to that’s all, if I really can’t afford it cos it’s TOO expensive then I just won’t get it. I dunno.
