I’m getting married in the UK this summer and as the groom, I’m looking for ideas for bidh, which we give after the Nikah. I’ve heard that a lot of people give organza bags which are quite nice but I was interested in giving boxes. Does anybody have any ideas where I could get good quality and fairly priced boxes in the UK or even abroad? Also, my mum is keen in putting nuts and sweets, as you used to put in Bidh a many years back, is this still what people do? What do people put in Bidh nowadays?
Any help will be much appreciated brothers and sisters..
Thanks theway, They have some very good ideas on that thread. Just need to find companies, preferably in the UK, that i can get boxes from. I was thinking of using boxes with ribbon round them and a personalised sticker..
Any thoughts??
I’ve also ordered from this UK company- just some samples of the different colours before I buy 300- I plan to order the boxes online in bulk and then go to the local haberdashery/market to buy some contrasting ribbon to tie on top.
Another nice touch I’m considering is printing up little cards to go in the base of the box that say mine and my future husbands name and wedding date- or alternatively you can get personalised ribbon with your names on it- http://www.allweddingfavours.co.uk/
Theres a really nice picture of these boxes with dulhan and dulha ka naam on a ribbon on it - it was posted earlier for someones mangnhi. It looks really elegant - its on post # 19734 - its beautiful
