Bichar k tum se ab to haal hay aisa,
Jagti aankhon main ratjagon ka malaal hay jesa,

Khafa hona b nhi ab to mumkin tum se,
Kon aae ga humen tum sa manane jesa,

Yun to din beet hi jata hay kisi b tarha,
Phir behta hay raat bhar ik gham tumhare jesa,

Hum to thehre ik beparwa tumhari nazron main,
Par chahe ga tumhe kon chup chup k hamare jesa,

Berukhi ko samjana mat bewafai ab tum,
Ankh churana hay bas ashkon ko chupane jesa,

Tum se kese hain maraasim kiya bataen tum ko,
Bhool jana hay tumhain, saans k jane jesa…!
