Re: Bibi Sakina (a.s.)
^^ u have obviously not researched history, The head of Hussain ibne Ali spoke in the court of Yazid, and furthermore - it recited the entire Quran while enroute with his captive household from Karbala to Syria and back.

Re: Bibi Sakina (a.s.)
And about the bringing of the head of imam hussain in jail to satisfy the child, is that even true?
How did they preserve the head (if they cut it as a trophy in the first place).
These stories are narrated from hadiths. I don't have specific references since I heard them during majlis. If anyone else knows the reference for these stories, pls mention them.
Re: Bibi Sakina (a.s.)
thanks for the link
somethings though are not clear in many accounts-correct me you all if I am wrong
according to Arab Traditions army was divided into right left flanks and centre
Habeeb ibn Mazaheer(ra) commanded one.
Zuhair al Qahn(ra) commanded the other
In the centre was Abbas ibn Ali(as)
trenches were dug on the sides and set on fire to prevent the enemy from outflanking this small force.
I think the companions first insisted on fighting before the Family of the Prophet(pbuh)
Mostly the fights occur in singlecombats first…right?
and any info on who were the first volunteers from the Imam’s army?
Did the ummayyads try to storm the tents through a frontal assault in the evening of the 9th or the morning of the 10th?
will appreciate any help
