Re: Bhutto’s Nationalization policy
@sachaydinho
All the chor uchakas you have mentioned who got hold of MCB have paid more income tax post privatization from MCB than any other business entity in Pakistan besides decent employment to thousands and best banking service to millions. Almost all the privatized business entities are doing a great job in fertilizer, cement, ghee, banking and several sectors giving employment to people and taxes to the government except for one disastrous privatization which was done by PPP government in 90s. This was the privatization of National Fibers which was handed over to Nasir Schon. This polyester unit was handed over to this guy in lieu of certain personal services Nasir Schon used to provide to Zardari. If you don’t believe me ask any of the old staff at Marriott Islamabad where he always used to have a portion of top floor booked to entertain Zardari. I don’t want to go in to the details of what kind of services Nasir Schon used to provide Zardari..
The bottom line is after privatization Nasir Schon could not run National Fiber for a single day. This industrial concern could not start production for one single day after privatization. This was one of the few privatizations done by Benazir PPP government. You can very well decide from the result of this privatization about the merits of this transaction.
If I become the PM I would hand over entities like PIA, Railway and Steel Mill to chor Uchaka like Mansha anytime for free compared to saint friend of Zardari like Nasir Schon..
This is post privatized scenario. I am talking about privatizing of entities in illegal manner, in which maha chor earned illegal billions in those transactions. You can not justify these selling of profitable entities to favorite parsons just because they are now running in profit.
