Both were hanged and executed…but they reacted differently before execution…
Saddam was able to speak and stand on his own feet and was brave and defiant till his last breath…
How did ex prime minister Zulfiqar reacted…for that check this video
Re: Bhutto vs Saddam Hussein
There's a difference between taking pride in your religion and culture and being sensible about it and being arrogant in a reckless manner. Saddam fits the latter description. He should have known that there was no way Iraq could take on the might of the US (Iraq is not even among the top two militaries in the Islamic world - Turkey and Pakistan). And he was reckless not once but twice. I still remember when Peres de Cuellar visited him in 1990 a few days before the war started, Saddam had a golden opportunity to withdraw his troops from Kuwait and end the crisis. His pride would have been intact as he would have been seen as backing down before the UN and not the US but he just did n't take the cue and fatally miscalculated America's intentions. For all his ranting the mother of battles ended in father of defeats. Besides what did he achieve in the end, got his country bombed back to the stone age, lost his grandson, two sons who were butchers and of loose character anyway (not all that is published in the media is propaganda) and in the end lost his life as well.
While Saddam's calmness was commendable (and I was actually quited incensed by the behaviour of his executioners who were a disgrace to say the least), how Bhutto reacted is how most people would react in simlar circumstances. So let's leave the poor soul in peace. As far as I am concerned Bhutto got his punishment in this world.

I do agree with u that for common people, facing death is a horrifying experience but then again we have witnessed and heard accounts of people like Saddam of iraq, Omar Muktaar of Libya and Ghazi Ilam deen of Punjab who did face their end with great bravery
