what is really sad is - while the country is about to face war with india. a civil war on the western border. rather than meeting with heads of other countries to gain support for pakistan, its leaders are mourning the loss of a person whose only contribution to pakistan was mr 10%. thats what is making me sad.

Pakistan will be lucky if all of its corrupt politicians ended up like benazir. Amen

BB was much worse than Zaradari- she married and brought this tribal leader to politics. Problems started in Pakistani politics after BB took over- many people were hopeful and democracy was seen as a welcome change but she ruined everything.

A sincere question:

Why do we talk about killing someone to get rid of the person, so lightly?

No political motivation whatsoever but a simple question.

Why not say : May the person get the right thinking or may someone else with better mind comes without first person being killed or whatever.

Her death was no different than BB. She died or killed soon after fraud elections of 1964 of Ayub Khan. Even her funeral triggered riots at Mazar-e-Qauid when she was to be buried next to Quaid according to her wishes. Government of Ayub Khan did not want that and teargased and lathi charge the crowd. She was not allowed to burry there as per her wishes.
