Bhutto, Bugti & Balochistan
If there had been any laxity towards development in Balochistan none was responsible therefor but a few Sardars. If there had been any negligence towards development in Sindh none has been responsible but a few big Wadeiry. If there has been any negligence towards development in NWFP none has been responsible but its corrupt and self centered leadership. If there has been some developmental works in urban Punjab none has been commendable but their comparatively better leadership.
There was no militancy anywhere in Balochistan when there were no developmental projects on cord. But now when hectic efforts are on the move to brought Balochistan to mainstream and development and were given their due share (rather more than their due share) - the most blackmailer lot amongst their Sardars striving hard to annul all the developmental projects.
Gwadar related mega projects have actually disarrayed the dreams of egocentric Sardars, - ‘the Lucifer the great’ of Karachi, the reincarnation of Sheikh Mujeeb - Iran, Northern alliance of Afghanistan - UAE and hired assassin US - and so given the coincidence of their evil desire or hostile settled strategy, all of them are hellbent to grind their own axe in the situation or penalize the latter as much as possible. In these circumstances opposing President Musharraf government is tantamount to high treason, which is being committed from the day one by our political lot mostly comprised of zealots and egoistic elements. None of our political lot or even of so called ‘intellectuals horde’ weigh up any thing on merit rather they are judging every thing on their personal vendetta and motive.
It was no body else than Bugti & Bhutto who were spearheading the military operation in Balochistan against his political rivals. First one must hear Bugti’s first cousin; Patriotic Mir Ahmadan Bugti what and what not Bugti has been doing against his own kith and kins but nevertheless no NGO or HRCP has dared to raise voice against the Bugti’s brutalities or the torture cells Bugti has established in his ‘duchy’ for ‘domesticating’ the poor and weak. If saying for God’s sake has any value in this country then the vital steps President Musharraf has taken for the well being of common & overlooked humans in the neglected Balochistan is enough for entitling him to be awarded the noble prize to him.
