Benefits: Sahitya Academy like govt intitutions collect literature, make dictionary, publish and books, organize fests etc. Official language commission which deals with language issues contains representstives of these languages so they have a say in affairs. I have to study more about it. There are handsome number of Urdu script newspapers. I saw some Urdu news channels as well. Large number of Madrassas teaching Urdu script. I think Urdu is not loosing it’s script.

@the_kaur is of teh view that even in Muslims areas advertisement for urs, etc are written in devnagri
