Just saw this. My previous post addresses some of this.
In the South, they use the all encompassing term Devi. They would say Devi ’ s temple. And I get confused as to which Devi they refer to.
Over the years, after connecting some dots, I gathered the Devi represents all associations with Parvathi and the associated goddesses of courage referred to in the previous post.
Am sure the others such as calypsodysic kaur etc are more knowledgeable.
