Bhangra is actually the best genre, and i do not mean the daler mehndi type mummy-daddy bhangra which is produced in INDIA, i mean the UK Urban Style Bhangra ...that is prob the best one can listen to these days, though it is very expensive compared to other music albums, as one UK Bhangra album price varies from 8 to 10 pounds, so its not everyone who buyz those CDs, ppl will rather wait for their mp3s to release on hubs, sites, irc etc etc etc.
Danger and other Indy Sagu songs u mentioned are pretty old now. Metz n Trix were the ones who started the Danger Series, and they left it due to some probs with UnTouchablesUK, After that all other stupid MCs came in the scene and then came the follow ups to DANGER 1 which were quite bad. Indy Sagus latest album IndyStructable turned out to be one of the biggest FLOPS of this year, and after doing such a crap 2nd album he has also left UNtouchablesUK, and joined moviebox so far i know.
Now the question about what is new, well Rishi Rich finally managed to produce Juggy D and Jay Sean`s debut albums, so they are out, pretty decent vibez on em with some nice bass n tumbi flute, typical rishi style. Otherwise DJ Vix released his 2nd one , Hunters released Phat Trax Vol 1 ...Gubhi Sandhu released his 2nd one too by the title SOLD MY SOUL which is a pretty decent album.
Here are some of the good albums from year 2004 u can try checking out.
Notorious Jatt - All Due Respect
PBN (punjabi by nature) - His 2nd album "Settin The Standard"
Gubhi Sandhu - SOLD MY SOUL
DJ Vix - Vix it up
Sunil Kalyan - The Product
D Unit - Various (pretty good one produced by such like Dr Zeus and other ENVY producers)
Genius - Various
Kami K - Lesson 1 (mixtape)
Jeeti - Off the hook
My top 3 uk bhangra albums of 2004 wud be:
1) Jeeti - Off the hook
2) D Unit - Various
3) Genius - Various
You can either buy them online , or u can download from hubs like ggnetworks or irc.
I run a 0-sec Bhangra topsite , where all releases are uploaded a day before their actual market release. If anyone interested i can hook them up with that FTP.
