Last night was the 2nd greatest night of my LIFE! Bhangra Blowout was absolutely AMAZINGGGGGG!!! I had so much fun, kasme!
And now, I’m suffering from what you call a bhangra hangover . I’ve got about 10 sick tunes from last night’s show playing in my head all at once.
I was so amazed by how good the people were at dancing. I mean I’d seen videos on YouTube but those are nothing compared to actually being there, hearing the music beating in your heart .I had 3rd row seats, but then I realeized that there were these HUGE speakers at the edge of the stage that ruined my view, so I ended up moving a few rows back to another seat that was empty.
I was, however, extremely disgusted by some of the people that were there (in the crowd). They were complete desi trash and it was evident that they hadn’t come for the love of bhangra. =\
I made hella videos and took lots of pictures of the performances, which I’ll post as soon as I get a chance.

No no no! I came straight home!!! Honestly. Before the show, there was a guy walking around and he was selling after party tickets and he was asking around if people wanted to buy some. He asked me and I told him “No thanks…don’t wanna get stabbed. :D”. Over the past few years, there have been major fights at the after parties, usually ending with someone getting stabbed. It’s sad.
Oh but when I was there at Bhangra Blowout some of the Indians came in like piss drunk. =\ And they were being annoying.
Anyways, I didn’t let that ruin my fun. But afterwards I went to Checkers and bought fries and a shake with my friends/sister and then went home and went to sleeeepp.
^ umm because I was sitting in the crowd? lol I mean the people that were performing were up on stage... oh but there were some losers who were totally wasted and getting their bhangra on right at their seats. idiots.
