omg!!! i love the big earrings and bare neck look too!! haha, i have seen a bride do it, and carry it well...
she had a tissue net dupatta on her head, and the heavy kaam wala dupatta drapped from behind in her arms...very graceful!
well a standard bridal dupatta is 3 yards...now depending on your height and the amount of "dhaal" you want, i would say 4.5 yards is good.
having a measuring tape and loose fabric around maybe helpful :)
