its a lehnga choli (saree style blouse) with the yellow dupatta drapped around, and the red dupatta is separately hanging on her right shoulder. (not part of the dress) the designers usually mix and match their ensembles/fabrics to give outfits different looks...for multiple fashion shows.
are you wanting a 2 colored dupatta to imitate the shown draping style?
shayad aisa karoun ... it's one of my short-listed style ;) ... a net ka dupatta sounds so convenient to put on head ... cuz its weightless ... and a kaam wala dupatta with such a setting can save me from getting kaam done on the shirt ... and wearing something big on the neck :D hahahaha ... i love the look of an empty neck with big earrings ... but of course thats not a choice a bride is given :P
so what would/should the length/breadth be of them?
omg!!! i love the big earrings and bare neck look too!! haha, i have seen a bride do it, and carry it well...
she had a tissue net dupatta on her head, and the heavy kaam wala dupatta drapped from behind in her arms...very graceful!
well a standard bridal dupatta is 3 yards...now depending on your height and the amount of "dhaal" you want, i would say 4.5 yards is good.
having a measuring tape and loose fabric around maybe helpful :)
