Bhaabi

What we call “Bhaabi (brother’s spouse)” in english. I asked many of my friends, few told ‘Sister-in-law’, few said there is no word in english for 'Bhaabi" and rest didn’t agreed at all.

**English meN one name fits all rishtas in that category...like...Uncle for Khaaloo, maamuuN, Chacha, taya etc. aur isii taraH sister in law is good enuf for bhabhi, nand etc.

so, i would say k "sister-in-law" is the ONLY word in English language as far as i know :)

mujhe baRii haNsii aatii hai jab salaam du'aa kaa time aataa hai...banda Ghareeb hove yaa paas meN ghaRii [watch] na hove to vo salaam du'aa hii na kar paave...lol!

KKF Bhai.... Mein ne bhi unko sister-in-law bataya tha pr aksar kehtain hain ke sister-in-law Biwi (wife) ki behan (sister) boly to SAAlI ko kehtain hain.

I told my them all ke its called in english “Sister-in-law” but some of them said No “Sister-in-law” mean ‘Saali’ and rest just watching us.
