I think he should dump her and find someone else who is little more sensitive towards Pakistan and its people.. we are only reading her side of the story... plus the last thing a guy ( who is living in Pakistan) wants to hear about how bad situation is over there as if he doesn't know that - I feel sad for such Pakistanis who have to live there, pay through the nose just to make ends meet, then a third person with all the privileges' in life tells them otherwise... I agree he shouldn't have sworn at her but she should have not used such proverbs which aren't even used by British them selves.. was she trying to impress him by her English 101? Well didn't cut it.. suck it up now!
