I was just wondering what are some of the bestsellers lists that you guys use.

I like the New York Times list, I found that any book that I pick out of thier list is usually worth the read.

Sometimes I use Amazon only because its so convenient. These books are hit and miss, I picked out Twilight from this list so :wub:

And once in a while I look at the Oprah best sellers – these just make me wanna gag!!! Only good book I found here was She Come Undone by Wally Lamb

I don't use a bestseller list to decide which books I should buy/read. Not all the best seller are 'best' books. Mostly, I tend to stick with the books of my favourite writers, or about the themes that I like.There could be many reasons for picking up a book, but not the best sellers lists.

I don't really use best seller lists but I guess now I would check some of those lists. The books I read are mostly random pick or recommendation from others...

I found that I got tired of reading the same genre so I tend to use these lists as exploration tools. :)

I was about to say Richard and Judy too. They are awful TV hosts, but recommend some decent books. I dont really read all of them though if I know the author and their style. Like I didnt read A Thousand Spendid Suns as I hate the way that dude writes.

I kinda liked it -- but some parts of even the first book made you sick to the stomach

I read it a couple of months ago. I was totally depressed. It's nothing but a well written story about the disgusting status and life of women in Afghanistan.

Well the events are ofcourse depressing but it is a story of hope... I liked it.

Well I don't choose best seller books it totally depends on the taste because most of the time I am found of thriller and suspense novels. But on Muniya's recommendation I read Twilight well its a good romantic novel.But I do like Dan Brown and Lee Child Reacher series.:D
