I need it! I can make normal Channa chaat, but I want my chaat to taste extra special and I need a new recipe please.

The bestest chat has fresh ingredients for instance; organic mint, coriander, tomatoes, medium heat chiles, little bit of spring onions, and fresh lemon juice. I always add cold yogurt right before serving. Go easy on the chaat maasala and add it according to taste and not just heap loads.
Use cholay that you soak overnight and boil yourself instead of the canned ones from the store.

Yes’um. But not a lot of it, just a couple tablespoons, more of a garnish than main ingredient.

Bestest chaat
ingredients
1 Onion-chopped into tiny slicies
1 tomanto-chopped
1 green chilly finely chopped
1/4 teaspoon of plain chilly powder
1 tbs Chaat masala
1 can of cholay
tiny cubes of potatoes-boiled with salt
1 Cup of yoguart
please note if no chaat masala mix garam masala will do!
Salt for taste
Mix everything together, and add cold yoguart and mix well before serving ! this is my receipe cool!

Does no one add Tamarind? I think thats what it's called in English, I dont have the guts to attempt to spell it in punjabi.
I mix the yoghurt, tamarind, fresh lemon juice, chaat masala, salt, mirchi, fresh green chillies, fresh corriader and garam masala seprately and fold it into the channay mixture and use red onions sliced very finely as a garnish.
Tamarind is a must in Chaat, gives it that kick.

i think you should add finely shredded green mango OR chopped red(unripe) black berries...they are very sour ...gives it a kick like tamarind
and some grated chocolate
and some buttons and safety pins

ummmm chickpeas+boiled potatoes+green chillies+imli paste+red chilli+chaat masala+lemon juice ...mix
top with shredded onions and more chaat masala and yum!
