I havent seen Viv and Kapil’s innings but read lot about those innings.
Basically all above mentioned innings are like a Necklace. you take one gem out of it and it will look
Tai ji - No one is telling you to take any gem out of the necklace - Infact I was telling others to add more gems of their choice. Here are some more :-

Tai ji which part of *** "Please feel free to add your fav. listing" *** tells you to choose one from the list in my 1st post. Before the list I clearly mentioned that those were *** "couple of examples"** *from different world cups.
not worthy of a top 5...but i think miandad and imran's 50-something and 70-something respectively in Final 92 should be mentioned. Although Javed in a white helmet did look rather odd :) and imran's 6 off Illingworth...well..that was a gem.
Basically all mentioned above innings are gem in thier respect and i agree. But there are nt many example of consistency through out the Worldcup.
And Pakistan has this example in Javed Miandad who produced excellent batting performances in almost every match of the worldcup and played a key role in our triumph. :k:
Martin crowe also played some gems inthe same worldcup.
I agree - Imran's innings in the 92 world cup final was a really good and led the foundation of pak innings. But didn't change the outcome of the match - the inning (or rather the partnership) which changed the outcome of the game was cracking innings of Akram.

Inzamam-ul-Haq’s 60 runs off 37 balls in the semi-final of 1992 changed the course of the game. A gem of an innings, which put Inzi on the cricketing map of one-day greats.

Definatly Steve Waugh's century against SAF is the greatest performance not just in WC but in one days as well.
