Re: Best Wedding Photographer/Videography in Toronto, Markham, MIssiauga, Brampton, e

I have heard a lot of good reviews about ABCI video and DJ services..it's a complete package and they have 2 photographers, which is good so they get different angles...also I have seen them at weddings and they catch everything...I think they also produce slideshow powerpoint presentation for the actual wedding day.

i’m going to edit this to say the beginning of their video is great, but then they do some really really WEIRD ****e in the middle.

Re: Best Wedding Photographer/Videography in Toronto, Markham, MIssiauga, Brampton, e

I just got my wedding pix done by Bharat Kanda (we call him BAZ) - five rivers studio -
and lemme tell u.. he’s prolly one of the most versatile photographers I’ve ever seen!! He does Candid photography.. but captures every single angle of the wedding!!

Five Rivers Studio - Wedding, Portrait & Event Photography check it out!!

I was just about to say that. I didn’t like the song/music choice either for that indian couple’s vid… its freaky for a wedding i think. :bummer:

Videography in Toronto

Hey guys,

Has anyone heard of Sabir Gaya videography in Toronto? Is he good?

If you have had any good experience with any other videographers, please let me know.

Thanks

Re: Best Wedding Photographer/Videography in Toronto, Markham, MIssiauga, Brampton, e

hey guys,
five rivers is really good.
for my wedding, my fiance and i looked up and down for 3 months and i think we met with so many photographers. we were most impressed with studio2000 (photostudia.com i believe or photostudia.ca). They are quite expensive, but we'll tell you how everything turns out. It is a gora who will be taking the pictures but he has done south asian weddings for many many years.
My fiance and I realyl wanted a journalistic / editorial/ and creative outlook on the wedding - not the typical south asian phtoography style.

by the way, i have heard HORRIBLE things about Ross. He's just a mass producer and doesn't really take any good creative shots. Plus I hate how he treats his clients. Without fail, at the end of the 5 conversations i have had with him , he ends the convo with "okay, okay, okay... yeah.. okay, bye." Would you trust your 5K+ with somebody like that?

I personally think that you should look out for the following when selecting a photographer:
1. MOST IMPORTANT: GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE
2. Versatility
3. A good photographer can take really good photos and not really require any editing to them. For example, our photographer has this thing he does where he holds a ligh bulb behind the groom and bride's face, the rest of the room is dark, he sprays some perfume into the light and takes a pic with the particles of perfume in the air! AMAZING Pic! I think its on the website.
4. The photographer shouldnt be too quick with turnover
5. Let the videographer do the slide show and photographer focus on taking pictures rather than scrambling to the slide show at 4am the night before the reception
6. Many years of experience is really good..especialyl with south asian weddings. Also, make sure the girl/guy is really PASSIONATE about photography. See if he/she enters phtogoraphy competitons, and does other stuff on the side rather than wedding-only.

Anyways, let me know if you have questions.
Thanks

Found a thread regarding Kuljit Rehal on another forum. The thread does get derailed a bit but maybe the thread starter hired him. Not sure though:
