hey guys a friend of mine has saved up a lot of money over the years and he is thinking to invest it in something now. so my question is are there any good low risk ways of investing about £12,000 in the uk?

low risk investments will be bonds and Unit trusts.

If he wants to raise his risk profile than I would suggest investing in venture capital funds.

Save up more, and buy a house. Best asset, best efficiency lowest risk and extra cost, best return short and long term, and bound to rise in price.

Or on the otheer hand- I agree with sara_87 - cheegum- kodiak

Sooo after yo';ve done this piece of investment- wot yo do is..... give half to the needy, and keep half yourself. 2 n 1 :D

Youll still have £3k more than what you started with, if done right!
