Not sure if the poetry is by someone else, but the band is amazing. Vocals are good, but the best part is the video. Simple, moving, and quite Pakistani. (unless they copied some other video that I’m unaware of).
I actually cried when I saw this. And tears don’t come easy these days to me, to be quite honest.

sorry for bursting your bubbles PCG but you can visualize, run and imagine thousands of videos like this or even better in your head in the name of Umeed and have your brain produce the required chemical reaction for the tears in your eyes. But the ground realities in Pakistan are so grim and the "worse" is yet to come. I am not a pessimist but the change portrayed in the video in such an innocent way is not possible. I don't know if I am off topic but just felt like sharing my thoughts.

I'm not expecting people to stand up and take a stand for themselves as they did in this video overnight. Pakistanis are too weak for that, and frankly, too stupid for that.
Which makes the video all the more sad.
