Best Vacuum cleaners

I’m sick and tired of my old dirt devil. I need a vacuum that will suck hair, play dough, and dirt off the carpet. I can’t see the dirt but the carpet just doesn’t feel clean enough. Please share recommendations. I’m in north America. Dyson are completely out of our price range.

Shark....I love mine, it's got the swivel head, gets into all the tight nooks and crannies and has the detachable/carry canister to take care of stairs or other hard to reach places. I got mine at Sam's Club for $250 and it came with a bonus steam mop. I know Target has it for around the same price

Khatti, pls share the name when you get a chance

Re: Best Vacuum cleaners

Can anyone recommend some for the uk?

Re: Best Vacuum cleaners

I have the Shark Navigator and it is awesome. I bought it for around $120 from Walmart a year and a half ago (even posted a thread asking for recommendations here, which you can look at) and it has not disappointed. The suction on it is great!

I’ve got this one and I love it: Vax U91-MA-P Air Pet Multicyclonic Bagless Upright Vacuum Cleaner: Amazon.co.uk: Kitchen & Home

As good as my mum’s Dyson but smaller and lighter..

Re: Best Vacuum cleaners

We have a 60 dollars upright bag type vacuum cleaner :frowning: But it works good as our kids are 8 and 12 and dont make too much mess. But then I also have a shop vac (like one in picture) which does a great job on the hardwood and tile floors of the house, so both vacuums split the job.
