The copper IUD is the only one (other then condoms) that don’t have hormones added to it. I’ve had it since my son was born without any issues. I’m sure your healthcare provider can answer any questions you have about it.

Will you be breatfeeding ? If so then you won’t be able to take anything with both estrogen and progestin.
