am looking for long term method, but the ones for long term have certain side effects i dnt want the only one that seems what most people use is the combined pill…i dnt really understand the IUD types of methods, as i dnt want anything inserted for a long period of time, not sure why, anyone who knows more or uses this pleasse let me know if i shopuld change my mind about the pill.
also certain patches can make or give acne…and ive had bad skin my life, so dnt want it again now.
so any ideas, i didnt think id be this confusedas to whats best…
the pill not good if very overweight…now whats classed as very overweight…
if you do not want to use an intrauterine contraceptive, then i'm afraid your only option for long term birth control will be the pill. I do not suggest the lupron injection, that will really mess you up...same with the upper arm implants, but i honestly do not know anyone who does that anymore.
you could always practice "natural planning/pulling out" i suppose, but honestly, does that ever really work??
go with the pill...it's your best and safest bet, as long as you are dilligent about taking it correctly.

but what happens if you forget to take on time or day.....think its not as effective then.....
so whats the best one thats inserted...i dnt like the upper arm either, but what about the coil....
The copper IUD is the only one (other then condoms) that don't have hormones added to it. I've had it since my son was born without any issues. I'm sure your healthcare provider can answer any questions you have about it.
Will you be breatfeeding ? If so then you won't be able to take anything with both estrogen and progestin.

just keep picking fights with your hubby and MIL and you'll be good :D
LOL
Saadia... I had a difficult time getting pregnant and after I had my son I finally started having regular menstrual cycles, didn't want to take a chance with the hormones messing with that.
