Re: Best time for photoshoot

If I had gotten married in Pakistan I would have loved to have photos taken at beautiful historical places..... there are so many in Lahore...... ahh that was a dream.

I got married here in the US and I also chose to keep my dress and entire look as a surprise for my hubby...... the first time I wanted him to see me was when I walked into the hall with my parents after the Nikkah. And that is what happened.... the look on his face and my happiness of being in that "moment" ...bc I too was seeing my guy as a dulha for the first time! ...it was worth it.

I had loads of personal portraits done in a hotel room of just me, me with my female family members, and me with my bridesmaids. My hubby did the same... had loads of solo shots of him taken ..whith his family and friends as well.

After the cake was cut and speaches were done (and yes I had cried) .. during the dinner part - we escaped to our honeymoon suite (which was MASSIVE and gorgeous) and had the rest of our photoshoot there and other places around the hotel as a couple. Because my things were already in the honeymoon suite, I was able to use 10 minutes to freshen up my makeup. :D Everything had held up beautiful.... Just needed to apply a bit more eyeliner and some powder.

It helped that I did my own makeup. The pictures from before the nikkah turned out beautiful bc makeup was fresh and it they turned out gorgeous during the couple photoshoot bc I was able to freshen up the makeup. :)

Re: Best time for photoshoot

I think best time is for bride and groom to have photoshoots before they go to the function. atleast this way they are still fresh

Re: Best time for photoshoot

i'm too planning to have a photoshoot before function but dont know if y hubby wud be able to come :( according to them there r many rasms and all for groom side before barat and things will mess up if we"ll plan to have it before function.

Re: Best time for photoshoot

I hope you are able to convince him....Rasams...even though very important, will not have that long-lasting memory effect as a photo-shoot. Inshallah your future generations will be able to also enjoy the photoshoots :)

Re: Best time for photoshoot

Thats my wish aswell,, i want it to get done b4 function so tht we can enjoy the whole of our day later with our family, otherwise bride and groom have to leave for photoshoot during function, be in in bridal room or elsewhere in hall but i've never found it comfortable at all..so i hope i"ll convince him or he can convince his family for it :(.
