^^^ Even though I do not agree with you that army takeover is on behest of US and corrupt work for the interest of generals, No one saying that army should take over.
I also do not agree with you that when army leaves, the country get into worse position than when army takes over. Actually, army in power did many thing good for the country, but also did something bad, especially Zia.
I believe that army has always left country in better economic position than when army came in … though I admit that socially (not economically but socially) Pakistan did very badly and gone down the drain of terrorism, sectarianism, and extremism due to Zia and his flawed policies, especially due to his love of licking the back side of Saudi Arabia.
I also do not agree that being in power effects army professionalism, rather it enhance their professionalism, and historically it was always army generals who ruled and governed at the same time, until time democracy became fashion and army generals took back seats, especially in western mature democracy (where politicians rule, not due to just election, but due to their moral high ground … what Pakistan politicians do not have).
Anyhow, leaving the argument if army or whatever is good or bad for the country, what I want to say is that, IF and IF, present government do not resolve the problem amicably than army should take over, and if that happens than army should make sure that they completely rewrite the constitution, hang corrupt politicians, bureaucrats, police, judges, and confiscate their wealth … and rule the country for foreseeable future, not just 9 to 11 years what has happened till now.
But if situation get sorted out amicably, where everyone is satisfied than army do not have to intervene. Here, when I say everyone, it does not mean politicians in parliament but all, those who have interest in the system as politicians as well as those who have interest in the system as voters … and according to my opinion that can happen what I wrote above in my post as ‘solution one’.
To accept a government formed through election (2013) that we all know was massively rigged has to be ‘NO’ and whoever thinks or have opinion that if election was rigged then instead of pulling down government, court and EC should be approached, than that to me is again ‘NO’. I am pretty sure that such opinion of going to court and EC is similar to opinion of goons supporting Mubarrak (Egypt), Saddam (Iraq), Asad (Syria) and so on, defending these dictators overwhelming wins in elections (what goons of Thug Nawaz also like to do).
I think, when facing a corrupt and brutal (Zalim) dictator minded Thug Nawaz and his team, one cannot trust state institutions that are handpicked by Thug or are neutralised by the Thug using money or threat. So, if thug Nawaz does not agree to correct results that he obtained from rigging amicably (most like choice being new election under armed forces and mutually acceptable EC) than road has to be the only solution where one have to response police brutality (if it happens) in same coin (as happens in such situation where one is facing brutal Thug dictators like Nawaz).
