with the whole job situations industry wide right now, your best bet is going to be some thing thorugh professors contacts even if it is probono.

with budget cuts, internships are among the first thing to go.

nonprofits are hurting bigtime, so they can probably use an extra hand and would be a good target

I have looked at AMA. I was signed up for their emails about internships...currently not getting a lot of them, thats weird, I didn't realize it till now.
I have asked couple of the Professors I know, and I have heard that the ones that are posted outside the Marketing Department are ones that I should apply too even though their timings have gone. I 'm going to look at thoses too.Our Marketing Dept is dheela as of this moment, we are glad that we have a new Chairperson and he is bringing in a lot of changes.
One thing I keephearning from other students is that to make sure the internships are real ones and not disguised as just ways of having work done free. It has been a problem for some students.
I have read about Diabetes Association as well as American Heart Association looking for interns. Company name is really important isnt it?

One thing I keephearning from other students is that to make sure the internships are real ones and not disguised as just ways of having work done free. It has been a problem for some students.

But again, once in a company, you have the opportunity to build personal relationships with employees/managers. Have a good positive impression, will make you a first choice when a "real" position opens up.
