I’m sorry if this thread already exists or something like this has already been talked about before but I recently fell in love with a Sana Safinaz bridal however I was quote around $7000+ for it which to me is too much for one bridal outfit. I was wondering if anyone knows of any designers or places that do a REALLY good job with the replicas. I know anyone says they can replicate the outfit but it never usually turns out anything close to the actual outfit. Please let me know if any of you guys have any resources for any people who do really great copies for their bridals. Thanks a lot!!!
Omg. I'm in the same position! And I still haven't found anyone who I feel would do a good Job of replicating the Sana Safinaz bridal that I like. ( the one i want is different from this one) anyway if u do find anyone please let me know!! Lol or if anyone else can help us?
I was also told that Sana Safinaz does not customize outfits to the client's request other than maybe sleeves or something which I find quite haughty because I asked the rep if I could go for a lighter bottom to reduce the price and she said "ummm no sana safinaz doesn't customize outfits like that and they certainly don't want to sell their bridals below a certain range because they like to stay above a certain price point". So basically they don't want just anyone buying their outfits which didn't sound ok to me because a designer should cater to the client's request and work with the client's budget. It sort of put me off!
Im suprised you were quoted $7000 which is over 6lakhs, im sure in the ss thread a few ppl mentioned they have bridals up to 5lakhs but who knws. I really want a ss bridal but im hoping it wnt be as ridicolously priced as its not from their new bridal collection
My friend got both her shaadi and valima outfits from sana safinaz, summer of 2010. They paid around $4000 for each dress. She said working with them was horrible experience. It was basically a take-or-leave-it attitude. No customizations/changes would be made on anything. I cannot digest paying THAT much for an outfit you’ll only wear once, and then not be able to make any changes. Ridiculous. I’d rather plunk down $4000 for a total custom, couture creation. Just my humble opinion.

the dress that i have in mind is also an SS. but there is no way on earth i am paying an outrageous amount of my hard earned money to get it.i ll get a replica made when the time comes.
LOL ok guys I know that $7000 is a lot and I would also never pay that much and would rather get a replica made hence the thread! So please help me out by telling me if you know anyone who does a great job with SS replica's since its very intricate kaam and not everyone can replicate it well.
well i dont know if this vendor will be able to do it but i recently seen a pic of a replica they apparently made and to be honest it ws pretty damn good. the thing with sana safinaz is they have a dinstinct time of kaam and im not sure what you call it and ive not really seen it on any other designers’ outfits. neway ive not had any experience with this vendor whatso ever but the latest pic they put in their bridal album is a really good replica.

My sister had the same experience about 10 years ago. They refused to change ANYTHING, including the colour of the outfit. They’re adamant that as “designers” they need to exericise exclusive creative control which shows a lack of flexibility. I thought her outfit was nice, but I would’ve wanted more input in the outfit I’m wearing to my wedding.
