well, I personally saw a rally when benazir first came back to Pakistan where banners said 'shaheed kay khoon ka badla' and she stated that she wanted revenge for her fathers death.
so maybe in the WWE set up of pakistani politics, its all about revenge.
and it maybe true, ZAB got lynched by zia, his son murtaza killed the judge who signed teh orders and even tried to assassinate zia, (maybe he succeeded in teh end) he also killed chaudhry zahoor, father and uncle of the two chaudhries from gujrat, maybe they got even, who knows maybe it was them not zardari who got rid of murtaza and the benazir, after all she was afraid that they were after her.

well in feudal system revenge is denoted with bloodshed. he said his mother words, and yes she did the politics (though not a something good to be mentioned) rather than what her brothers try to did which was actually the so-called meaning of eye for eye, nose for nose and soul for soul!

The PPP "services" to the people (in concert with common crminals) are on display in Karachi and interior Sindh at the moment.

I dont think Benazir ever played the revenge politics, the only thing I can think of is that Big Shairf (abba jee) was sent to jail on some fraud case, but he was released by her very own orders too.

On Wolf Blitzer, this lady who had written and had accompnied Benazir was being interviewed was asked how would you describe BB etc.She said that she had come back to Avenge her father's death.She repeated the word avenge couple of times. I was thinking that the badla from Pakistan or what? She also said that if BB was to be in the Government NATO would have gotten the hold of the Nukes and very conveniently Wolf Blitzer cut her interview short.
And for the revenge thing I personally know an Uncle of mine who was put in jail for a long time because , I should write abt them here. But it was just stupid thing, he was no way involved in her fathers death.
