Re: Best places at lahore and islamabad

Liberty, Model Town D Block, Raja Center, Orega and M.M. Alam Road for shopping.
M.M Alam Road, Defence for eating out (I havent been to Lahore in 2 years but I have heard there are couple of new restaurants near Badshahi Mosque where Cuckoo's Cafe is, that would be a great place to go at night time)
Lahore Fort, Badshahi Mosque, Wahga Border are some of the places you can go.

Dont know anything about Isb but do visit Pir Suhawa and Saidpur Village.

thank you so much :-)

Re: Best places at lahore and islamabad

Kaghan closes in mid august , it wont be possible to go there in winters as far as I know.

Go to Monal @Pir Sohawa
If ur adventerous typ go on the Trail hiking to Daman e koh , winter is perfect for this. Trail 3 is the easiest I think but do some more research.
Said Pur has the famous Polo Lounge of Hina Rabbani Khar , the food is good.
Theres 1969 and a couple of other places in said pur too.
Must have afghani chips with their delish chutney from f-7 and nimo soda (if ur into street food)
chaat from f-10 either Chatkhara or TRP & best roll parathas are from TRP ( Taimur Roll Paratha)
For the fancy stuff there is Melange which has a superb cafe & also houses a lot of designer apparel from HSY to Umar Sayeed & Pret wear as well.
There's Lime Tree (pizzas and pasta is good) & Mango Tree (thai) & Majlis for Lebanese food, Omar khayyam for Iranian food and Rock Bistro & Rendezvous have really good molten chocolate cake .Other food is good too.
Papasallis is one of the oldest food places here & it has Italian & Continental food , but it's hit and miss sometimes really good sometimes awful and oily. They do serve Moven pick though.

shopping areas is mostly F7, F6 and F-10 markaz for clothes etc.
Hope you have a good trip. :)
