I got my clothes and jewellery from Pakistan, but I just couldn’t find nice shoes…so I decided I’d get them from here. Now I’m back home I can’t seem to find any places that do nice shoes.
My dress colour is red with gold kaam, and an ivory lehenga. I’d like to get red shoes, but wouldn’t mind gold if they were really pretty. Also, I’m 5’5" and he’s 6’2", so I want at least a 5 inch heel (that was my main problem in Pakistan - all the shoes were like 2-3 inches heel max…)
So, can anyone suggest any good places to buy nice bridal shoes in the UK?
What's your budget? You could go somewhere like Unze to get sandals, or you could go to the more expensive shops to get more western, court shoes like Kurt Geiger or even Jimmy Choo!
There's quite a few different places to look in, but it does depend on budget and style.

For a pretty pair of shoes that look nice I would be willing to pay.....hmmmm... up to £70 I think. Seeing as it's bridal. I am not a big fan AT ALL of spending hundreds of pounds on shoes when you can pay a fraction of the price for very pretty looking ones minus the label.
Yeah I've looked in Unze couldn't find any nice ones with a heel....
example of nice (IMO…) shoes you can buy within a reasonable budget. First two are unze, gold one was from pakiland.
for my bridal, I’d quite like sandals like the silver ones on the left, with a nice heel. Can anyone post pictures of similar shoes in red, and maybe where I can get them from, s’il vous plait?
I don't mean to go off the subject but i read in your original post that you brought your jewellery from pak... I've heard from a lot of ppl that jewellery back home isnt all that and wouldnt be of our taste. Having a look at the shoes you have you have similar taste as me... was the jewellery you gold gold or artificial, i'm after artificial like the type u get from jewellery shops around here
I am coming to England to shop for shoes, bags and clutches from Canada. Well, I am visiting some family there too on my way to Pakistan for my wedding which is taking place in January 2012 (4,5,6,8). Please let me know if you find any good wedding shoes (Sales may be). I am drooling over Christian Louboutins but will have to watch my budget

I bought gold and artificial. To be honest jewellery wasn't that great in pak either. I went Pindi which was rubbish, so went jinnah super in Islamabad to get both gold and artificial in the end. It was nice, but I think for artificial you can sometimes find nicer designs here!
I actually went Karachi a few years back and stocked up on loads of gold with my mum, so might just wear that on my wedding instead of the stuff I got when I went this year, as I don't like it that much.
Hey,
Where are you based in the UK? Have you tried Poze accessories on Ladypool Road, Birmingham ? The shoes in there are really nice, you can get all kinds of styles, mostly they have the sparkly type which look like your shoes are made of pretty knecklaces lol:wub: And the heels are quite high usually as well . Price range is pretty much what you are looking for as well, obviously they have more expensive and cheaper as well though. Its probably worth a look there if you can get the chance.
