I need to know what are some of the best perfumes out there, my sisters birthday is coming up and i think ill get her a perfume. Need to know which ones are good and which ones to stay away from.

There are two types or rather several types depending on occassion.
I'll give an example, even though these are colognes y'all can improvise.
When I use to smoke, it was strong colognes like Xerus, D&G that mixed and matched with the smell of cigarettes.
Deuville and Givenchy at dinner parties and casual events.
Pleasures for cold winter days.
Here's a tip. After using a modest amount of perfume/cologne, try using a hair dryer and watch it make the smell stronger. That way it hightens the smell and makes it last longer. Don't over do it, less than a minute under high heat should be fine.
Its just a mixture of skin and scent that make the combination. Some perfumes/colognes won't suit us because of the skin texture and dietary intake but they still smell good. Try many, sample them before buying one. I have had to go through many brands in one run along with a whiff of coffee beans to neutralize my olfactory senses figuring out which one is the best to buy.
I'm a sucker for sweet musky scents in the mens cologne.

Most of the perfumes by Estee Lauder, i.e. Pleasure, are very good. I also like the women's perfumes by Ralph Lauren, i.e. Ralph. One of my favourites is Beverly Hills by Georgio (NOT Armani).
I also like Glow by J-Lo. That has a nice smell.
For everyday purposes, I wear Divine in the Dream Angels series of Victoria Secret perfumes.
STAY AWAY from all perfumes made by Elizabeth Taylor. They stink!
