Most base notes come in between 5 minutes to an hour and last only a few hours, top and middle notes are gone within 5 minutes … More expensive scents will last over a day or so and fade, but if washed will go away quickly … the Rose de 'lArabie base note lasts 3 days even I after I wash my hand. On clothes no doubt it will last longer.
