I new to this forum…And i am soon moving to USA. I want to know what are some good places to see in NY. And what are best places for vacation in USA. Please also include your experience at those places in usa if u been to…I am curious to know so when i move to USA i would know where to go for a good memorible time thank you…Waiting for some wonderful replies here:)

I would go and visit Florida!! The weather is nice, and of course the selling point is Disneyland!!!! And your never too old to visit there...so don't worry!! Highly reccommed Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom and Universal studios!!!

Good places to go in NY State: New York City (obviously), Niagara Falls, Thousand Islands, Any of the finger lakes (I personally suggest Keuka Lake.... go out on the boat for lunch. Its so beautiful to do this in the summer), Lake George (lots to do there.. not jsut a lake), Darien Lake Six Flaggs (really fun amusement Park), Letchworth Park, There are alot of farms in new york state.... i highly recommend going to a berry farm in the summertime and also go apple picking in the fall, Bronx Zoo or Buffalo Zoo, There are also tons of malls to get your shopping on all over the state - different malls offer different stores so definitely dont just stick to one place.

and OMG sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo many wonderful places for vacations in America!!! Take an Alaskan cruise, go to Hawaii, Grand Canyon, Go visit the state of california itself and visit the many beautiful cities there - there is so much to do there and the weather is wonderful and its just beautiful, Florida is also a great spot as another suggested - (go to Disney World & Universal studios in Orlando), and go to Miami and Tampa as well. Make sure to check out the everglades! while u r there as well), Chicago is a wonderful city to visit in my opinion as well as BOSTON, Washington D.C. is good too ...its the capital of American and has alot of touristy things for one to do while there.
I can go on forever but I should stop somewhere eh? Honestly there is alot to do here...the problem is not having the time and all the money to do it all :)

You have forgotten to mention Venderbilt Mansion and Roosevelt Estate in Phoukeepsie area.
In the city, obvioulsy Statue of Liberty, Battery Park, South Street Seaport, Empire State Building, Central Park, Museum of Natural History, Museum of Modern Arts, Times Square, Intrepid Museum, Circle Line Cruise around the city are some points of interest.
