I know I am missing many of the stars from pre 1970s... but I have not seen any footage of them playing. I have read a lot but I am more of a 'seeing is believing' kinda person.
I know I could have missed, Fazal Mahmood, Imtiaz Ahmed, Abdul Hafiz Kardar, Mushtaq Mohammad, Hanif Mohammad, etc.

You should be burned alive for including Actor in all time best TEST team. Test team buddy, TEST TEST TEST!!! He can’t play after third day of a match and you’re including him in all time best test team. What a pitty!!! And that too by not including Waqar the great in the side

Take it easy dude. I included Akhtar based on his abilities (considering full form). Also, note that in this team he won't be the ONLY wicket taking bowler. He will be used in 4 over spell bursts by Imran and the work-horse bowlers will be Wasim and Qadir.
I thought about Younis vs Akhtar but then having Wasim in the team (similar bowler to Waqar - yorkers and all), I thought Akhtar will bring in a third dimension of extra ordinary pace. Imran Khan at his peak would equal Waqar but not Akhtar.

I think Ehsan bhai's team is great, except for "Maindad" he should put MainGrandDad unless he wants Miandad :D

funguy,,, u can read my previous posts full of criticism for waqar during his last couple of years... so u can be rest assured that i,m not a die hard waqar fan.... but when u say peak form,,, dude, akhtar doesnt even come close to waqar.... waqar in his prime beats everyone by a mile... everyone including imran, wasim and mohammad bin qasim.
so putting akhtar in the best of all times is a joke.

fg, I am a Waqar (of olde times) fan and am just as surprised as Kaka at the logic of picking Akhtar over Waqar. A patti-wearing, gold-chains clad, thick MucHaaN aala charging in Waqar of the early 90's was probably the most destructive fast bowler to play the game.
Even at his peak, Akhtar'd show flashes of brilliance in a test-match scenario but not match the ruthless way Waqar went to war with every over in his prime. There's also the 'if' of Shoaib actually lasting a whole test series without breaking down. He has a fighter attitude and bowls his heart out but at some point nakhray-baazi does seep in if things aren't going his way.

highly dissappointed with Funguy, Shoaib Akhtar still has a long long way to go, before we even start comparing him to the likes of Waqar and Imran. Imran of all the people.

I'm somewhat disappointed in all of the teams posted so far...it just goes to show, the real talent always gets over looked. I would love to post mine but i know it wont be appreciated...oh well :)
