Hi fellaz.. looooooong time no chit chat.. all my fault..

but Ali Zafar’s new album has made me post after all this while..

Huqqa Paani is one of the top great 5 albums I have ever come across to.. He is a natural artist.. All genres of art come soo naturally to him that i would say that he doesnt have a match..

I’ll describe in detail a bit later.. meanwhile you go listen to it …CYA.

yup its a good album but i wont rate it that high

tho my nephew who's 2 yrs old loves it so much he rushes to the tv n starts dancing whenever CHANNO is on :D

Secondly the composition plus vocal variations sound pretty fine in the album collection..

although i think he is not that good singing live.. then there arent many that sorts anyways...

Finally.. Jawad's 3rd attempt sucked big time.. its more of a sponser cum abrar sorts.. not himself..

Well you havent heard pakistani pop previusly then, Vital sign, Junoon etc albums were the pioneers and stil are right at the top.

That rangeen song they showed over Eid was good too. He sounds so much like Kishore. Lovely deep voice. I should listen to the rest of them too. Then i'll post some more.

I m so in lov with his song.. they are kinda kool... they dont make to my top ten list.. but.. they are KOOL..

best album of all time pleazzzzzzzzzzz :rolleyes: :nono1: :yukh: :yawn: i have listened to the whole album and apart from huqa pani and channo the rest of the songs r pathetically poor. ali zafar needs to concentrate on his pitch, the guy didn’t know wen to deliver during his songs.

songs with high beats he seems to sing well and settles in f9 but when smooth liners come along, he can’t seem 2 adapt to the melody and his tone is either 2 high or 2 low it is never pefect or moderate.

i mean no offence to the guy, but constructive criticism which mite seem harsh @ 1st, will only make him a better singer but for the mean time he needs singing lessons badly.

Ditto! I was thinking the same thing. His voice takes me back to Kishore's oldies, especially the "chal dil mere".

So true Sehar. His songs transport you to the Kishore Kumar era. His voice, the music everything is so similar!

I saw Ali Zafar’s music video yesterday on PTV. The guy who was in Landa Bazaar is in the video. I’m a bit confused … is this dude now singing songs or was this guy simply ‘modelling’ in the video? He was also in Abrar’s video, “Preeto”. Anyway, whoever the guy in the video is (who is also from Landa Bazaar) … he’s hot! :love:

He does have a nice voice … I like it … :love:

That is Ali Zafar Mehnaz. Singing is apparently his first love so he left acting to focus on singing. He is a cutie...a little feminine but nothing age can't fix!

I must admit, Pakistani people are so incredibly talented. He is a good actor, and a fantastic singer (and he's hot)!

You guyz are forgetting.. he is a specialist charcoal sketcher aswell.. other than vocals he has written, composed and produced most of his album songs aswell..

n i think he is more of a Mohd. Rafi sorts.. khair how him being hmself.. critisicm relating to his vocals is not valid as it is a lifetime learning part of singing..

but still he produced a few very different melodies.. and people are in top five just because of this fact..
