It’s hard to go past Chaminda Vass’s last over in the second ODI at Dambulla against the Aussies last year. Australia only needed 5 runs i think to win, which sounds easy to get. Though Vass bowled perfect yorkers every ball and Symonds couldn’t do anything with them.

i havent quite seen anything like it....
only pollock's 3-wicket opening over against pakistan (was it at sharjah too?) comes close....
if u r looking for test matches, zoysa's hat-trick against west-indies is a pretty good candidate....

That Pollock over was in Lahore, and Pakistan infront of a packed home crowd were 0/3 after 1 over 
(I was reminded of that game so much yesterday when Pakistan were 9/3)! However, they were chasing 270 something and still managed to get to 260 odd. Incredible fightback from Inzamam and Moin Khan.

Da Paki Guy- You call chaminda vaas = Dr death? come on even australian Ian Harvey has had more success than Vaas. Yes Vaas has had his moments too but with the amount of experience he has, not so frequent.

I dont remember which VB series was that but WI needed 2 runs to win in final over and Waqar Younus never allowed WI to get those 2 runs :)

Moin was under immense pressue cuz that was his first game he played as a batsman only cuz rashid was recalled . it was so weird moin fielding at 3rd man in early overs 
inzi scored a magnificent 72
Moin scored 59
and azher mahmoud scored a brilliant 59 in that match

i remember reading in a cricket magazine (cricketer or akhbaar e watan) some very interesting stats...
the only thing that i can remember is wasim akrams 4 wickets in 5 balls,,, dont know when or where but it was... W W CD W W ..... and CD being catch dropped.
any stats relating most wickets in an over or 4 wickets in 5 balls,,,,, ? please share.
