I tried it and loved it... i once tried using your idea of maida and garlic... i also tried it with besan and it tastes equally yummy and garlic gives it a very unique taste...
spinach and some of last nites qeema :) I beat the egg whites seperately and then fold in the whisked yolks and put a lid on the frying pan for about 3 mins- makes a nice fluffy omelette.
yummy! …its interesting to see all varities of taste people acquire! All i know is that omlete cannot be too oiley, it has to be fluffy,well done, loaded with diced vegtables and ultimately it must taste good!

Oh last time I made it, I think I did something wrong cz it didnt look right. Something was strange abt its' look. And to eat it was even worse. I dont know why that happened.

Mam ! Do you know that more than one egg yolk is not recommended for a person in one day, and at most two at weekends. there is cholestrol and nasty fat in it.
Although there is no harm in eating egg whites tho
so after reading that thread yesterday night, i had in mind to make an omelette for brunch at noon after i got today!
hence here is the yummy recipe that stroke my mind:
in a oily frying pan brown mushrooms and few fenugreek seeds
mix 2 eggs and 2 table spoon of liquid cream, add cumin, paprika and garam masala…a little of each…mix well, then pour over the mushrooms
leave it to get cooked on one side then turn the omelette and add some cheese (raclette or any other Alps cheese ) and foil in two with chees in the middle
2 eggs whisked in bowl with a pinch of salt
heat pan and pour in the mixture
cook till half done
pour in 3 tbsp of President's Choice Hot Salsa
smear it around till evenly spread
fold and cook
President's Choice..you're making me homesick for Canada. I get homesick for the stupidest things. Muzna I also make eggs with salsa and cheese. My fil passed the recipe along to me.
Oh and Sooraj, any kind of cheese, chedder, mozzarella. It's all good.
