Just wondering if there can be a post in the wedding section where brides can post the ‘Best of my wedding’ list of vendors and location etc for their particular city. This way instead of going through multiple posts to find different details it can all be listed under one topic.

there r already websites with all those listings...I guess with such a wide array of people from around the globe here , it would be hard to cover even the major cites

well let me start it off- im going to hire her to do my bridal mehendi (she said its from $100 to $350 depending on the design you choose from her portfolio), but i just noticed her makeup is also pretty good, and she’s prompt with her replies via email.

im currently sorting through photographers. i really like the photojournalistic/documentary style of photos and none of the standard “pose behind the stage” stuff. we’re not even having a stage, so it doesnt apply anyway. we’re meeting a whole bunch of photogs in the next couple of weeks or so, and hopefully, we’ll have ours booked by feb 1! for 8 hours of consecutive shooting, they’re in the $2300 to $6000 price range, but i feel their photography is worth the $$. after all, your wedding day is only 24 hours long, but you’ll have your pictures forever.

fyi, all of them are willing to travel to the location of your wedding, if its outside TO, so if you’ve got the cash to fly them out and host them, let them know! and most of them have shot indian/hindu weddings so they do have brown wedding experience, and pakistani weddings are not so different stylistically, i think.
and book them at least 1 year in advance. they’re extremely busy and with only 6.5 months to go, i’m seriously pushing it – my top two choices (mimmo and naz, and andreas) are already booked… i’m SO upset. but i’m blaming the fiance for that entirely. he just didnt want to discuss any vendors before jan! hmph.

good choice, she´s also good with makeup and listens to what you want and answers all your questions. she´s worth every single penny believe me.
