May I chime if you do not mind on behalf of Amal?
you can give a short introduction of the poet but do not include images and pretty coloring or fonts because it will take the focus out from the main content- that is Ghazal - so a background of the ghazal will be a PLUS... keep in mind that it will be counted as extra point to be considered but Ghazal itself should speak for itself.
I am ready to read your selection and hope it will come out one of the good ones as you always post :)

This is exactly what I meant by presentation. Your piece must not lose focus because of extra coloring work and images waghera. Make it as decent as possible. If you don't have background of a ghazal from the poet's point of view. Try to explain how you interpret the ghazal and why you like it.

Amal Bhai I juz wana know do winner vl get a medal type icon around his/her nick name ?I saw this kind of winning medals (icons) around some msg boards !

We are still thinking about what to do with the winner. I do not think that we have that medal system install here. But at least we all be giving Rep Power to the winner. There is also another option under consideration that I will let you know later if that is to be implemented.
