Best Night cream for dry skin?

I need a new night cream desperately but can’t decide which one. Any recommendations for a good night cream for very dry skin please.

Forget creams. Look into carrier oils. They're amazing! If you have super dry skin then look for something heavy like Emu Oil.

My skin isn’t too dry or too oily , it is mixed normal skin. I use Rosehip oil some time the one stoppit mentioned. Any other suggestion for normal skin other than oils?

^ On the original post you wrote you have "very dry" skin. Now you're saying it's "normal". Which one is it? Are you looking for a night cream to moisturizer or for some other benefit?

I consider my skin dry but when I went to Clinique ,they said your skin type is II not oily, not dry. I am looking for a rich moisturizer.

^ 2 of my co-workers use Clinique Moisture Surge Intense and love it. I tried it...and while it did a great job at moisturizing....it also broke me out. But that doesn't mean that it won't work for you.

You said you've tried the Rosehip Oil.....is that not heavy enough?

Vaseline is also a great and cheap way to keep skin soft (and yes, I've used this on my face too). :)

Loccitaine has good moisturizers, I'm not sure if you have this store in UK. Other than that Olay has some good ones too.
I personally like loccitaine ones and Johnson's baby lotion!

I am going for Cliniqiue moisture surge this time,let’s see how it works for me. Vaseline on face , seriously? I use Vaseline only for lips and feet.
I apply Rosehip oil 3 times a week or sometime I don’t, it gives more glow and shine to the face. I first apply little bit of moisturizer then I apply the oil or sometime just the oil on its own.

I am going to buy this tomorrow.

Never applied Johnson’s baby oil on my face ever,used it to remove eye make up few times. And we don’t have Loccitaine here.

^ LOL.....yes....Vaseline on face at night. Whenever I do this, in the morning, my face feels baby soft. :)

I have Rosehip too and use it sometimes during the day or under my make-up. But yea....if you want something heavier that's a oil...then Emu is a great choice.

I hope the Clinique works out for you. :)

Lilly, might be an idea to ask if you can have a sample to try first..

They are normally pretty generous with freebies :D

my niece swears by Vaseline......though I find it too oily to put on my face.
honestly I find that the expensive solutions are nothing but overkill on the price.....oils and the conventional creams like Nivea, Olay and Ponds etc work just as well for nights.

i wanted to ask if i can use rose hip oil of anuother brand? they all works the same right? as the shipment charges are more than the product price :smack:
