Spiderman 2 was extremely over-rated ... the whole lovey dovey element just ruined the movie.
Um, I would say the House of Sand and Fog. I'm not sure if that was this year or last year.
Vanity Fair and BJ 2 were also extremely good.
Actually HP and the Prisoner of Azkaban was 10x better than Spider Man 2. :p
Return of The King came out this year right? Well then LOTR for sure!
Raindance, Baghban came out last year I think, didn't it?
Khaki was pretty good if that was this year.

English: SP2,
Hindi: haven’t seen Swades yet, so I might hafta change this, but so far its gotta be either Hum Tum or Khakee, both of which weren’t extraordinary but better than the couple of others I saw this year.
Urdu: no clue.

If Bagbaan was of 03 era then its my bad, I’ll go with Destinee and say “Khaki” with its theme and ‘non-Swiss’ flicks did well for 04.
Most talked about / most advertised / most viewers / revenue wise,
SP2 was the most successful movie of 04. (I would not nominate it for Oscar or Globe though) It’s the commercial stir of this movie that seduced me.
It’s not my style though but I thought all the hype shyp about this movie and the promo was Cool! And the best seen after the Star Wars.

I wish they had taken Russel Crowe instead of Pitts. I Love ‘Gladiator’ of 02.. The best in my DVD selection,

For me its a pretty good movie. A lot better than AVP. I am not a fan of Spiderman or any other super heros, so can't say much about it.
Day after tomorrow was also watchable movie.
