so did we... man, we used it till she was almost 5! thats how much we relied on her.... it was especially helpful during days she was not well.
I used to take ours everywhere (expect Pak/UAE) but otherwise everywhere...

We're using ours right now, while at the inlaws. It's the same issue, SGC -- since she's a bigger place that's less familiar, we keep the monitor on and then all hang out downstairs or in the basement.

**Really? **There are audio and video monitors. The monitors come in pairs. One is kept up by the baby, the other is kept with you. The traditional audio ones pick up sound from the baby’s room so you know if s/he needs you. The video ones also include an image, and you can actually see the child, if you set the camera right. These also have “nightvision” and you can see your child in the dark.
