Best mascara

I find givenchy’s 4 in 1 to be very good. However, i have heard many of the drugstore’s mascara can serve as a dupe. So can i have some recommendations plz :).

Re: Best mascara

All maybelline mascaras are really good! In fact, I don't notice any difference between maybelline and the MAC (voluminous) mascaras.

Re: Best mascara

Oh ok good, thanks for sharing.
I have also read a lot abt a voluminous mascara, maybe by loreal, which is suppose to be very good and at par with all the big branded mascaras.

Re: Best mascara

Benefit They're Real.

Yeah... L'Oreal Voluminous mascara is amazeballs. Defo try it.

Re: Best mascara

I just picked up YSL's Volume Effet Faux Cils.
Wearing it today and I really like it so far.

I've used MAC and Loreal's Voluminous in the past and found that I had to put a couple of layers to get the same effect that I got with just one layer of YSL.

Re: Best mascara

using estee lauder double wear :chilly: and it is beauts better that the mac haute and naughty. i hate that one now

Re: Best mascara

I use any mascara as long as it doesn't flake. The number one flaker for me is Maybelline Great Lash.

A friend gave me one by Avon: Super Drama Mascara (in a purple tube) and I've been using it all Ramadan. I've gotten compliments every single night at masjid. When this runs out I'm going to purchase the Benefits Roller Lash...I tried it at Sephora and loved it.

ohh, and I only use one tube at a time, and cover the opening with my thumb when I'm using the applicator so the formula doesn't dry out.

Re: Best mascara

doesn't your thumb get all black?

Re: Best mascara

Well I dont do that & my mascara doesn't dry out at all. It can't dry out in just few seconds. May be its all in your head.

Re: Best mascara

I just bought Dior Show Blackout (kohl) mascara- amazing! The colour is an intense black and provides wonderful volume/curl.

Re: Best mascara

@Muzna, nope, I don't swipe my applicator on the edge of the tube. But, I can see that happening, a makeup wipe is an easy fix.

Mascara dries out as its exposed to air. That's why it doesn't sit wet on lashes. Maybe I take more than a few seconds, so its a concern for me.

Re: Best mascara

Another fan of L'Oreal Voluminous...I use it for everyday use. For special occasions, the Dior Blackout is my go-to.

Re: Best mascara

I only really like Max factor ones. Some of Rimmel's new ones are not bad. ooh and benefit they're real looks great

Re: Best mascara

Urban Decay Perversion, hands DOWN. :biggthumb:

Best mascara

I use the Dior and Lancôme volume ones. They are hypoallergenic and do not mess with my eyes! Love them.

Re: Best mascara

That mascara is the most over-hyped piece of cr*p I ever bought.. by far the worst I've tried..

Re: Best mascara

Loreal’s Voluminous

My go-to since I was 16.

This is my everyday mascara…when I want to add oomph though…I pair it with a high end one like Lancome’s Definicils or Dior Show.

Results: people think you’re wearing falsies.

Re: Best mascara

Is it the false lash effect? How is it with thickening if it is. I really need a thickening mascara :(

Re: Best mascara

^ arabianights, a trick I learned for thicker, voluminous lashes is to apply one coat of mascara, while it’s tacky dust baby powder (cuz it’s cheap…you can use loose face powder too) and apply another coating of mascara. Repeat to your liking.
I’ve tried it and decided I didn’t like the results, let me know how you like it!

Mad Hatter…I seriously thought you were a guy :smack:
