I’m looking for a hair and makeup artist in London/Berkshire that does bridal makeup the way it’s done in Pakistan - so striking and flawless. But so far I’ve just come across Indian makeup artists that just make the brides look casual, with not a very good technique, just the standard smokey eyes that anyone could do :S In Pakistan they completely transform you and make you look stunning, with such emphasis on eyes, whereas here they look the same as they did beforehand, just a bit of colour here and there, nothing eye-catching.
I’m not saying I want to look like a completely different person obv but as it’s my one day to have all eyes on me I want to look different from my usual standard everyday eyeliner & mascara - not just with a matt powdery one colour eye shadow, but I like the whole gold and glitter etc that will make my eyes pop, highlight my cheekbones and plump up my lips
I don’t mind paying the extra for her travelling costs if she really is amazing, so if anyone could recommend someone I’d be sooo grateful!
I'm assuming you don't like the standard popular make-up artists like Ambreen, Dil Matharu and Jawaad Ashraf? If you're getting married you should opt for the popular make-up artists like the ones I have mentioned as it's your safest bet. You can view all of their real brides portfolio on facebook if you add them as a friend. If you want something more dramatic Jawaad Ashraf is your best choice. If you want super duper drag queen over the top then go for Naeem Khan based up north if that is the look you are desiring.
Hey DolphinX - check out Eesha Ali. I think she is based in Slough...she's from Lahore but lives and works here. She's a really nice lady and she does amazing base/foundation. Let us know how it goes xxx
I have always liked Uzmas from Manchester, her touch is very natural and elegant...do not know if she travels. I know that Naseem Khan travels though but as Tahiya said the looks Naseem gives are very bold.

Beenish Gondal. She is based in Slough. She did my wedding and walima makeup. She can do heavy traditional if that is what you want but is also able to do lighter more contemporary looks as well. She is very experienced but not too famous. Recently she has received more press coverage. She has a facebook page. reasonably priced too.

Sadaf did an amazing job on my mates sister-in-law. She’s Allenoras representative in London, and has been trained by annie herself: check out her page on facebook, tell her my mate Sairah recommended her and she may even give you a good offer, but she is defo worth every penny!
I have narrowed down a few names based on the pics of "real bride" on fb but am still awaiting reply from sone of them 1) jawaad ashraf 2) eesha ali (no reply to my msge as yet - a bit unprofessional) 3) sadaf khan (again awaiting reply) 4) sadaf khawaja and finally lubna rafiq
The only that are responding efficently are jawaad ashraf and lubna rafiq - which i like.
So my question is has anyone used any of these and wat was there experience like and the final look? I dnt want to pay someone who than rushes through it all (only get married once) any preference from anyone?

When I was researching make up artists I came accross the 2 of the above you mentioned, Jawaad and Lubna. My advise about Lubna would be GOOD LUCK on them messing up your booking and if she herself turns up intead of someone else, which happened to my sister-in-law. I found her and her team very un-professional. After many emails and booking her they eneded up giving my booking away to someone else by mistake and would not cancel her even though I was origanlly booked in!
I then found Jawaad after going back to the drawing board and found him very professional and good at replying to my emails. I booked Jawaad for all my events. All I can say is PERFECT & AMAZING, no regrets. He is very talented and knows what he is doing plus he listens.
So my advise would be Jawaad.
