Well i do use FF most of the time.. But for online transactions I use IE, cause allthe major banks prefer that. and once I saw a big vulnerability in FF while typing password in virtual keyboard. FF was storing everything in a plain text file through virtual key board. which was spoookie, while IE did not had that vulnerability.

But yes, FF is much more faster and the extensions are cool.

I have tried these ones:

  • IE 6 and 7
  • FireFox
  • Safari
  • Opera
  • Flock

The best one till now is Flock. It is based on the FireFox engine and you can use almost all the plugins which you have with FF. Why I went for it? I had a bad experience with FF on my Mac. If you open like 15 Tabs (I do open more than that), it suddenly starts eating up memory (taking upto 1,5 GB of RAM and lot of CPU power).

There is somewhere a memory leak bug in FF which is still not resolved. Flock runs very smoothly, no memory leaks!

Just love this browser!

IE on my Windows based machines.
FF on my Mac.

The only downside of using FF on Mac is that it doesn’t support multi-touch zooming that Safari does (Macbook Air). Plus, it doesn’t have the IE rendering extension that Windows’ FF has (some websites do not render properly in FF - my work email website being one of them).

And yes, Hotmail wasn’t opening on Safari. MS’ love affair with Apple is so cute. :smack:

IE7 pro I think is really good. While the crash problem has not gone away completely it is better than IE7. Also the mouse gesture feature is pretty cool and useful. U don't have to any longer click on the Back button, Refresh button, Minimize etc. You can use simple mouse gestures to get all this done.

Also I find IE7 Pro is able to integrate with more applications like RoboForm which Firefox doesn't have support for. And I simply can't live without RoboForm.

Mozilla Firefox...........

most popular and reliable that kills the virus at ur doorstep.
It won't let any intruders to hook up with your LAN. hehehehe

or if someone tries it will give you their ip address .....and then lolz

Microsoft IE 8 Beta 2 is now available for download. I’ve upgraded my IE 7 to IE8 Beta 2. It seems to run faster than its predecessors.

Give it a shot. See how you like it. It comes with some neat features.
